Manufactured Housing Installation

All manufactured home retailers and/or installers must make arrangements for the home to be inspected 10 days before it is completed. The inspector must meet at least one of the requirements found in 24 CFR 3286.511:

  • A building inspector/manufactured home inspector employed by the local authority having jurisdiction (provided the jurisdiction has a residential code enforcement program)
  • A professional engineer
  • A registered architect
  • A HUD-approved DAPIA or IPIA service provider
  • An ICC certified inspector

NTA has long been recognized as a leader in HUD Code and is one of only 5 private agencies to be a HUD-approved DAPIA and IPIA provider. Not only are we industry experts in all things HUD, but we have one of the largest workforces nationwide of ICC Certified Inspectors. With our certified inspectors and our flat-rate pricing plan, our inspection installation program is efficient and cost-effective.
