Third-party plan review by ICC NTA helps to ensure off-site construction projects will meet or exceed requirements for quality, safety, performance, and code compliance. We are an industry leader in verifying HUD, modular, residential, commercial, and industrial building plans are compliant with the International Residential Code (IRC), International Building Code (IBC), and other State and Federal standards. The International Code Council’s (ICC) plan review services provide customizable options for any size or complexity projects for on-site construction plan review.
Each of ICC NTA’s certified plan reviewers serves as your dedicated account manager who will be with you throughout the entire process, providing an in-depth understanding of your project to help you meet your timeline. Our expert plan reviewers maintain certifications in all disciplines, and our Professional Engineers are registered in all 50 U.S. States, Guam, the District of Columbia, and parts of Canada. Our knowledgeable team can help you navigate State, County, or City programs’ specific requirements to ensure your plans hit the mark.
Our preliminary plan review service provides a path forward even when your construction documents are in an early stage of development. While your complete set of documents is still in process, ICC NTA can provide a preliminary permit set for foundation permit requests, helping you provide the documentation needed to continue with your project.
We believe innovation through technology leads to better, safer buildings. ICC NTA developed and introduced the industry’s first electronic plan-review software, eDAPIA, in 1998. Over time, eDAPIA has evolved into an entire online project-management system that gives our clients the ability to access their project files anytime, anywhere.
ICC NTA is an approved DAPIA and IPIA provider (one of only five private companies to earn this distinction) by the U.S. Government’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In addition, ICC NTA is a designated third-party agency for modular construction by the Interstate Industrialized Buildings Commission (IIBC). We are also a member of the International Code Council Family of Solutions, with direct access to the organization that develops the International Building and Residential Codes and many State and City codes used around the country.
