Flexural Thermal Insulation is a test standard used to determine the strength of block-type thermal insulation. Breaking load and flexural strength can be determined in this test method by either a three-point or a four-point bend test. There are also different procedure options to account for varying specimen types or a user’s test machine capabilities.
