Industries Served

NTA serves a broad range of industries with many services, such as plan review, engineering, testing, inspection, and certification. As a trusted name in the compliance and certification industry, we proudly partner with traditional builders, on-site/modular manufacturers, building product suppliers, RV manufacturers, and other industries to provide independent verification of quality and standards compliance in the products consumers purchase – from residential homes to a single home improvement product purchased, commercial builders, code officials and organizations, government agencies, manufacturers, and suppliers across the building industry.

Building Products

NTA works with building component suppliers across North America by providing product testing, evaluations and  certifications, along with in-plant quality audits in manufacturing facilities. We certify a product or process conforms with the regulations and objectives of the company.

Off-Site/Modular

Inspection, Design Review, and Evaluation of modular and panelized systems for code compliance. NTA performs quality audits on residential,  commercial and industrial manufacturing plants. In addition, offer design review services for all engineering documents.

Commercial

Everyone who reads this most likely uses factory-built structures on a regular basis. These structures include multi-story structures as large as 100,000 square feet. Throughout North America, NTA performs quality audits on commercial and industrial manufacturing plants. In addition, we offer design review services for all engineering documents.

HUD Services

Plan review and inspection services for factory built housing to ensure your structure meets or exceeds requirements for quality, safety and performance, as well as being code compliant according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) code standards

Government Agencies

NTA actively offers our expertise to our colleagues within government entities. David A. Tompos has served on the MHCC federal technical committee and often calls on decision-makers to inform them of the issues facing the building industry. We are currently working with several states on modular building programs, and with the Federal government on a manufactured housing program.

Code/Standards Organizations

NTA enjoys collaborating with standards organizations and frequently participate in committees to develop new testing requirements. David A. Tompos has spent many years as a member of the Manufacturing Housing Consensus Committee (MHCC), a technical advisory committee for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
