Ajax Engineered Fasteners Achieves Certification for Oneside Fasteners

NAPPANEE, INDIANA: NTA, Inc. is pleased to announce Ajax Engineered Fasteners has achieved certification for their Oneside Fasteners (Certification Report AJAX040413-54). These fasteners consist of four components; bolt, split washer, solid washer and the nut, and are intended for use where you cannot access both sides of the fastener to tighten it. Theses fasteners meet the building code requirements set out in the IBC, AISC 360-10 (Specification for Structural Steel Buildings), as well as NTA’s own, strict Quality System Requirements and NTA IM 015.5 program. These proprietary fasteners are intended for use as alternatives to bolts described in Section J3 of AISC 360 as ASTM A325M Type 1 Fasteners.
