NTA Certifies Extremegreen Structural Sheathing Properties

NAPPANEE, INDIANA:NTA announces a new product listing report for Extremegreen Building Products, LLC, NTA Listing EGBP013015-3. Extremegreen, a magnesium oxide board, was tested in accordance with more than 15 different ASTM, DOC and AWPA standards and specifications. The product was found to have an average mold growth rate of 0, as well as a flame spread index and smoke developed index of 0.
With the NTA Listing now complete, Extremegreen Building Products will be able to provide engineering and architectural design professionals with statistically established values for structural properties. “We are delighted to have concluded the first round of testing for Extremegreen. This represents a quantum shift for the magnesium oxide sector. Extremegreen is the only fully listed and certified magnesium oxide board on the market in the United States,” said Sam Catling, President, Extremegreen Building Products, LLC. Assembly-specific evaluation will soon be added to the report in the near future.
