NTA Gains Accreditation by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC)

NAPPANEE, INDIANA: NTA, Inc., a leader in third party testing, evaluation and certification, has announced its accreditation by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), Canada’s national accreditation body, for its product, process and service certification body accreditation program. This accreditation will allow NTA to issue their Certification Mark for facilities and products which are in compliance with CAN/CSA-A277, CAN/CSA-Z240 MH Series, CAN/CSA-Z240 RV Series, and CAN/CSA-Z241 Series.

“NTA has worked long and hard to make this a reality,” said David Tompos, NTA President, “We can now offer our current and future clients certification of Prefabricated Buildings, Modular Homes, Commercial Structures, Modules, Panels, Manufactured Homes, RV’s and Park Model Trailers headed to Canada.”

The SCC Requirements and Guidance – Product, Process and Service Certification Body Accreditation Program roughly corresponds to ISO/IEC 17065, which NTA has held since 2009. When combined, the two accreditations mean that NTA can provide certifications for products headed anywhere from the Rio Grande to Ellesmere Island!
