Urban Industries, Inc. has been certified under a new ICC NTA, LLC. evaluation report, NER-1080

Nappanee, Indiana: ICC NTA, LLC is pleased to announce that Urban Industries in Galion, OH has received the certification (NER-1080) for Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for wall and roof panels 8 feet to 24 feet long and 4 5/8 inches to 15 inches thick as a listee on the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) master code report NER-1021.
The above products have been evaluated for compliance with the 2012 and 2015 International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC), and they have been evaluated by ICC NTA’s IM 014 Structural Insulated Panel Evaluation and IM 036 Quality System Requirements.
SIPs are factory assembled, engineered-wood-faced with expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam core. The product is intended to be used as load-bearing or non-loadbearing wall and roof panels. Structural Insulated Panels are available in 4-5/8 inch through 15 inch overall thicknesses and are custom-made to the specifications for each use. The maximum product size is 8-ft wide and up to 24-ft in length.
