ICC NTA hires Glenn W. Schwabe – Southwest Lab Operations Manager
Mr. Schwabe is currently settling into his new role with ICC NTA, LLC. As the lab and operations manager at the Southwest Testing Lab in Bryan, TX, he brings with him 10 years of experience in the oil manufacturing industry, And 7 of those years in Supervisory and management roles within the Quality Control Lab.
He brings with him the ability to create and implement work instructions based off nationally recognized test methods. He has extensive knowledge of product management and new product development based on over 7 years of working with Shell, Exxon, BP, and Valvoline in the R&D divisions. He also brings with him experience with implementing efficiency programs to help improve operational success. Glenn has formally overseen and has implemented continuous improvement programs for lab-quality systems.
Glenn has gone through ISO 9001/IATF 16949 QAI training for auditing purposes. He was a member of an internal auditing team for the past five years and has conducted internal audits on many different departments of manufacturing plants. With his experience, Glenn has learned the challenges of testing products for large customers such as Shell and Exxon but also understands the needs of smaller companies and is able to fit a test program that keeps the customer happy. Safety has also played a significant role in his work background. He was a 5-year member of the emergency response team along with the natural disaster relief team while working for his previous employer.
The most important thing that he brings to the table is a strong work ethic with an open mind and the flexibility to help others around him to be successful. Glenn’s ability to create a good work environment and keep customers and employees at the forefront of priorities fits well with ICC NTA’s culture.
