If any of your approved NC modular manufacturers wish to begin using the 2017 NC Electrical Code now, they are encouraged to do so. The 2017 NC Electrical Code is comprised of the 2017 NEC along with the 2017 NC Electrical Code amendments. The 2017 NC Electrical Code approved amendments can be found Here. Please note that each individual Electrical Code edition is designed to be applied as a complete Code. Therefore, modular manufacturers are only allowed to use one complete edition of the State Electrical Code at a time (i.e. using portions of the 2017 NEC along with portions of the 2014 NEC in the same project is NOT allowed).
Please make all of your NC modular manufacturers aware of these requirements without delay.
