The new 2019 Residential Code of Ohio that will be effective July 1, 2019. Please note, there is no transition/overlap period. Documents containing designs approved per the 2013 RCO/2014 NEC/2009 IECC will expire on July 1, 2019. Applications submitted to local officials for one to three family I.U.’s on or after July 1, 2019, documents must be approved per the 2019 RCO, 2017, OPC (as modified in RCO Section 2501.1.1), 2018 IECC, (including each code’s referenced standards), and the 2017 NEC.
