The Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC) has adopted the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC) and the 2018 edition of the International Residential Code (IRC). As amended by the OUBCC, these codes have an effective date of September 14, 2022, and are enforceable as the statewide minimum codes for construction.
