The following notification was received from NEMA. The Building Code Commission has proposed amendments to the following 8 regulations: SBC-1, SBC-2, SBC-3, SBC-4, SBC-5, SBC-6, SBC-8, and SBC-19. The Building Code Commission has also proposed the adoption of 1 new regulation, SBC-14 Swimming Pool and Spa. You can view all proposed regulations in the notification below.
The comment period is open until Sunday, March 10, 2019. A hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 10 am, at the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), Conference Room A, First Floor, 89 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, RI 02886.
The proposed amendments relate to the following regulations which include an update from the 2012 to the 2015 ICC Code Group.
