The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) proposes amendments to the Industrialized Housing and Buildings Program rules (16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 70, §§70.22-70.25, 70.30, 70.60, 70.70, 70.73, and 70.101). The proposed rules implement House Bill (HB) 1385 and HB 2546, 86th Legislature, Regular Session (2019) and make clean-up and clarification changes.
TDLR encourages anyone interested in the Industrialized Housing and Buildings Program to review the rule proposal online.
TDLR will accept comments on the proposal until December 30, 2019. Comments may be submitted by email to erule.comments@tdlr.texas.gov.
