The Colorado State Electrical Board has updated Rule 1.2 in their Code of Regulations which includes the adoption of the 2020 National Electrical Code without amendment and will become effective on August 1, 2020. A copy of the permanently adopted rule can be found in the notification. Please find the memo update below regarding Thermal Expansion Control for Water Heaters as received from The Colorado Building Codes & Standards. Chapter 1322, Minnesota Residential Energy Code
The Department of Labor and Industry has canceled the hearing scheduled for May 18, 2020, regarding the appropriateness of amending the existing Minnesota Residential Energy Code, Minnesota Rules, chapter 1322. The hearing will be rescheduled for a future date and time to be yet determined.
