The following notification as received from NEMA. The Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC) has filed eight Notices of Rulemaking Intent (NRI’s) to adopt the 2018 editions of the International Building Code, International Existing Building Code, International Fire Code, International Fuel Gas Code, International Mechanical Code, and International Plumbing Code; to adopt the 2017 National Electrical Code, and to modify language in the 2015 edition of the International Residential Code.
A public comment period will begin on February 4, 2020, and end on March 6, 2020. A public hearing has been scheduled for March 17, 2020, at 1:30 PM.
