Oklahoma to Adopt 2020 NEC and 2018 IRC Codes

The Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC) has adopted the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC) and the 2018 edition of the International Residential Code (IRC). As amended by the OUBCC, these codes have an effective date of September 14, 2022, and are enforceable as the statewide minimum codes for construction. REMINDER: PA Industrialized Housing 2018 Code Adoption Information
September 7, 2022

The PA Industrialized Housing Program has officially adopted the 2018 Codes as provided by the UCC RAC on Friday, August 12, 2022. Any home that is labeled with the PA Insignia of Certification prior to and up to the end of business on August 12, 2022, may be constructed to the 2015 codes. Any home labeled after August 12, 2022, must be designed and constructed to the 2018 Codes. (Read More..)
