REMINDER: PA Industrialized Housing 2018 Code Adoption Information
September 7, 2022

The PA Industrialized Housing Program has officially adopted the 2018 Codes as provided by the UCC RAC on Friday, August 12, 2022. Any home that is labeled with the PA Insignia of Certification prior to and up to the end of business on August 12, 2022, may be constructed to the 2015 codes. Any home labeled after August 12, 2022, must be designed and constructed to the 2018 Codes. (Read More..)

South Carolina Adoption of Mandatory Codes

On October 6, 2021, the South Carolina Building Codes Council adopted the latest editions of the mandatory codes and appendices with modifications, as referenced in S.C. Code Ann. §6-9-50 (1976, as amended), to be enforced by all municipalities and counties in South Carolina. New Hampshire State Building Code – 2018 Update

HB 1681 was signed into law on July 1, 2022, which updated the state building codes. The bill was effective immediately upon signing. There is a six-month grace period (July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022) for building permits to allow projects in the queue to follow the 2015 or 2018 ICC codes. (Read More..)
